I will return her vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. – Hosea 2:15

Codependence Recovery is a journey of hope healing, restoration and new beginnings. It isn’t a label, but a mindset that can be removed. Through the tools of healing, the very dynamic that caused us trouble is a gateway of a new beginning. A pathway to learn the heart of God and find our identity in Him. What we did, where we ended up and the nature of situations today are the very ways God calls us deeper to Himself and rises us up and establishes a new way to live. The freedom you crave, the desire for “something more” lies at the very heart of your being, because you were made to be who God created you to be.

Thank you, can’t believe I finally found such information, this IS a God thing I recognize that for sure. Everything sounds so helpful and just what I have been craving for too too long!

      1. I just got my book that was shipped to me through Barns & Nobles yesterday. At our church prayer meeting yesterday I also received Gods word to forgive the person in my life I was codepedent with; a young lady who I considered like a daughter. Now I can truely continue to pray for her salvation. It doesn’t depend on me but its in the real saviors hand. KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYERS AS WE BOTH HEAL.

  5. I went through the Christian Co-dependency webinar last year, and I can say, ” I am NOT the same person.” Thank you, Jesus and Stephanie Tucker and her staff! I was BOUND hard to being codependent and had been that way most of my life, but through some hard work, resolving some old issues, and even grieving, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I AM FREE! I have “moments” but I recognize where I may be slipping, and I use the tools I learned from Christian Co-dependency.
I am truly thankful that Jesus allowed me to find this program. I do not live in California but I was able to attend by webinar, and I received so much during this time.
I am also a counselor and I would highly recommend this program for anyone who struggles with codependency. What I love most about the program is that is all all about Jesus.

    1. I’m also a counselor but was bound by codependency..I’m now free thanks to prayer pastoral counseling and time.
Despite my education and training codependency creaped my life but now I understand it all due to the workbook.

    2. This means so much to me. Ive always been codependent and am in the last days of a 20 year divorce that I’m having a hard time letting go. I so pray to get my healing I need so bad.

  6. I just finished the introduction to codependence. God is calling me to the freedom you spoke about but right now it seems impossible. I commit to watch the webinar and work the workbook and trust that I am here for God’s reasons….freedom. thank you.

  7. hey. a recent event in my life triggered fear and through a few conversations and some internet research God led me to this website, the book, etc. so i’m working through this workbook on my own. i’ve watched the first 2 sessions on webinar and am working on and continually adding to the life story. i’ve done this all in about 4 days and it has overwhelmed me greatly. i know it is a process and that God needs to heal me so i think i need to slow down but i don’t know how slow to go. when writing my life story i addressed stuff in the writing i’d never even acknowledged before that pen met the page. with all this past on my mind during the present it is a struggle and i don’t know who or where to talk because i’m going through this process on my own. what time frame do you suggest? i’m an all or nothing person and i know this can’t go that way. advice please? i think if i continue at my current pace i simply won’t make it but i don’t know what to do…….reread? just put the book down for a few days? ideas?

  8. Good afternoon, I heard you speak Monday night at class and just wanted to know that I’m very interested in the curriculum for myself and also as a counselor. please get back in touch with me and let me know if it’s possible to join the class now or if I should wait until they start again. Thank you Lisa

    1. Hi Lisa! You are welcome to join! We have two workshops going on and can find a way to squeeze you in! On this blog, you’ll find the information under Coda Workshop or Grace Built Workshop depending on which you’d prefer. Usually I would say the Intro workshop first; but since you are a counselor A House that Grace Built has key subjects that pertain the counseling room. If you come on-site, we do have a parking restriction due to the high number of parking spaces we were taking at one time. Our office landlord now requires that all workshop participants park in an outside area – the street, etc. Please e-mail me directly if you any questions – Stephanie@newlifespiritrecovery.com I will be doing training late January or February! You might also really like that!

    1. Hi Joe,
Thank you so much for your interest in our videos. We do not have DVD’s at this time. We just have the videos on YouTube – but I believe there is a way to download that to your personal computer. Please feel free to use it for a group or class if you are able to figure out how to do that on your end. With blessings, Stephanie Tucker

  15. Hi
I have been going through some trauma with my daughter this past week and been seeking God on whats going on etc..yesterday He said ‘codependent ‘ …I was like Wow Praise you Jesus . Ive ordered your books. Im in Australia . By the way its not my daughter but me . Only God loves and cares that deep for each of us to get to the root. Are there any other resources available?

  16. Hello Stephanie,
I “stumbled” across one of your YouTube videos..I was actually looking up the word enable and linked me with the word codependent, then youtubed Christian Codependent and BAM ,You.
As I listened to your first video,it was your voice and my words coming from your mouth!!
The biggest flood of emotions came over me ,the weight was great but I knew it was from God and I could feel his loverall so strong as I wept on my bed.God shined his light on the dark area of my life.HIS TRUTH!!
I’m wondering if you are doing any Webinar teachings,I’m ordering your work book this week!! I could go on and on but I just want to say thank you for all that you do,I pray a blessing for you and your family!
    God Bless :Michelle

    1. Hi Michelle – thank you so much for your message. I may be doing an online class this winter, so please stay connected! I will post it if we do! I will pray for you and if we can do anything to support you, please don’t hesitate to let me know. May God’s grace and His love overwhelm you. He’s a good Father 🙂

      1. Please ,Please email me if you do have a class mtkatahdin1993@gmail.com
I to am a All or Nothing kinda girl, it’s going to be a challenge not to steam roll ahead but I’m going to try my best to go as fast as the spirit leads and not in my own flesh to try to fix things faster then he wants. I was not brought up an alcoholic home but my mother was and I’ve learned from her Tendencies! And I definitely have a co-dependent spirit with my sixteen-year-old son. I believe this is the starting of my healing process that the Lord promised me two years ago and I pray me healing from co-dependents will be used to help someone else down the road, I know Lord all too well that this is how he usually works♡

  17. Stephanie, I just want to thank you for being that vessel for God to help others that are codependent to be set free. I have a counselor on line and he suggested your material to me.. I am ever grateful of your Christian codependency recovery materials and corresponding you tube videos… God is so good !! Thank you and God Bless you in your work for him.. Joan

  18. Wow this was so awesome. I didn’t grow up in Christian home . When I was 30 years old God got a hold of my life and turn my life around . He healed the pain from my past . I am now reading the book Christian codependence recovery workbook it has open my eyes to what I lived through and didn’t understand why I was the way I was . I am so excited to be learning and now headed for recovery !!

  19. Thank you so much for breathing LIFE into this difficult topic….you responded to a text I sent last week. I have your books. I may have a counselor in Cincinnati to talk with soon. I have been a bit in shock at the revelation of the magnitude regarding co dependency mindsets that have been functioning in me…..
Your materials…videos have made it so I don’t feel the waters going over my head….i am interested in live streaming and webinars.
Not sure how to do that….but I know I can learn
Thank you again …so very very much…

  20. Hello. I have been asked to facilitate this class for the rise up ministry beginning June 12th and ran across your website. Could you please help
    us with resources and curriculum?

  21. Hi, I was given your book The Christian codependance recovery workbook third edition and it is life changing. I was wanting to buy a couple more and I am having a hard time finding the third edition online. Do you know where I could buy these?
    Thank you.

  22. So excited to go through this process that I have spent years working on solo recovery and alot with my counselor for 6 years. Thank you so much for making this workbook.

  23. So excited to go through this process that I have spent years working on solo recovery and alot with my counselor for 6 years. Thank you so much for making this workbook. Also when you talked about people losing themselves that’s how bad I was also. I struggled with panic attacks at a young age and generalized anxiety and I had a huge identity crisis when my emotions resurfaced in college. Fortunately God used that extremely difficult storm in my life two help me understand my identity in him and that my identity comes from him and not for my dysfunction and weaknesses.

  24. I would live to find a support group for codependent recovery in my area, Roseville California. I am on a journey through the “Christian codependent workbook” and am so very grateful, but would appreciate some guidance and fellowship in the journey. Praying God’s blessing and protection on you as you minister to so many.

    1. Hi Beverly! Merry Christmas! I do not have an active list of people doing the workshops, I agree it is so helpful to work in a group. You are welcome to register with one of counselors for the counseling process which would take you through book on a personalized basis. Also, I plan to do some training this Spring, and as God touches you, perhaps you will consider leading a group. You don’t have to have it totally together to be a group leader. Just have had gone through the materials yourself. That’s how most of the groups are formed! God’s blessings to you and yours!

  25. Hi Stephanie
I have been through your program and Jesus used it to change my life. I would like to purchase workbooks for my church and the link on the spirit life website doesn’t connect to a way to purchase. Can you help? Amazon only has used copies or new starting at $53.
Also I wanted to ask if you have resources for teens dealing with codependency? And for Leaders dealing with Teens? I would appreciate any direction you can provide. Thank you for listening to the call of God on your life. For His glory you are leading people to freedom through the saving grace of Jesus.
    My Best,Gail B
    Ga

    1. Hi Gail – could you please send me a direct e-mail at stephanie@newlifespiritrecovery if you need further help, I’d be glad to connect with you. Here is the link for the current codependence workbook. We don’t have anything directly referenced to teens, but that may be a project in the future! I pray for all the work that God has done in you and how exciting that He’s using you!

  29. Hi I am a believer who was in depression and starting for many years smoking pot and alcohol and was raised with an alcoholic father. I have come back to my relationship with Christ and my wife is a codependent and struggling with her identity after my change since she doesnt need to care for me anymore. I am looking for wisdom on how to understand what she is going through. She says she is trying find who she really is. She was a caregiver to her mother growing up and doesnt want that household for our children. She is a nonbeliever. Thank you God Bless you

    1. Hi Peter – it’s a difficult situation. It’s hard to recommend resources for her because she really needs to make those choices, especially as it relates to embracing a relationship with Jesus. You can live out your hope and faith – and work on yourself the best you can, and through that, you may be able to influence her in a powerful way. We have a one-on-one counseling ministry that you can apply for – but it does require stable sobriety for a period of time. We also have a treatment program with a family program component to it. In either case – I recommend dialing our counseling/admission team. They will help you and get you resources. Their number is 866.543.3361. You can tell them you spoke with me online and I recommended you give them a call. Meanwhile, I am praying right now that the blood of Jesus covers your home and gives you all the strength and power to overcome and model the love of Jesus to your family.

  30. I signed up for the workshop online; however, I am not sure where to find the .pdf to download for the class or the name of the book to find on Amazon. Can you please assist me? Thank you.

    1. Hi Karen! Thanks for your message! When you signed up, you received an e-mail that had the download link (it’s towards the bottom). If you didn’t receive the e-mail, please check your SPAM, it should be there! If you still can’t find, I do have a copy (I receive a copy of everyone’s registration), so I can manually send that to you! See you soon! Blessings!

I didn’t know where I would have been had Jesus not helped me see truth. I grasped at straws most of life, trying to figure out the hole and the need I had to be loved by someone. It led me into destructive paths. I’m so thankful for the healing and hope I received through Spirit of Life Recovery. I think everyone needs help with codependency and should get counseling.
